Volvo trucks (East Anglia) required a usability study of the franchise site.
One of the problems identified was that Users would often navigate away from the franchise site up to the parent site without realising it. This flow needed to occur, but the User was to be made aware of the move from franchise site to parent site.
The client preferred that User remained on their site in order to promote their products on services.
Some of the suggestions were relatively simple to implement & yet had a noticeable improvement on visits & page impressions.
This was my first project for a smaller franchised client - it was great to get a feel of the different requirements a smaller enterprise has compared to the larger enterprises.
